Who these terms apply to

These terms govern all design services provided by Sofiane Addamine (referred to as "I" or "the designer"). By choosing a plan, you agree to these terms.

Design services

Process

You start by choosing one of three fixed plans: Essential, Core, or Custom, each with its own scope, price, and timeline. Once you answer the questionnaire, the project follows five stages, mostly async, on your schedule: Collect (the questionnaire), Locate (the brand strategy), Explore (moodboards to choose a visual direction), Assemble (logo concepts, then the brand system) and Release (delivery). Estimated delivery timelines, counted from when you send the questionnaire back, are 2 to 3 weeks for Essential and 3 to 4 weeks for Core. Custom projects are scoped individually.

If you go more than 3 business days without responding to a feedback request or providing required input, the project is considered paused. There's no rebooking fee, I'll pick it back up based on my next available slot.

Revisions

Essential includes 2 moodboards, 2 logo concepts and 2 revision rounds. Core includes 3 moodboards, 3 logo concepts and 2 revision rounds. A revision round is defined as a consolidated set of feedback submitted at one time. Additional revision rounds beyond those included may be available at an agreed rate.

Logo concepts are designed within the moodboard direction you choose. Revisions refine that direction. Switching to a different direction after you've chosen one is not covered by the included revisions and may be quoted separately.

Payment

Fixed price, paid to start. Work does not begin until payment is received. No surprise invoices.

Cancellation

If you cancel a project after work has begun, the initial payment is non-refundable. If I cancel a project, any payments received will be refunded in full.

Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights in the final delivered work transfer to you upon receipt of full payment. This covers only the design you select; any other concepts or explorations shown during the project remain my property, and I may reuse them. Until then, all work remains the property of Sofiane Addamine. I reserve the right to display completed work in my portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing.

Moodboards are made to choose a direction and may include third-party reference images. They are not part of the delivered work and no rights to those images transfer to you.

Some of these unselected concepts may be offered for sale as ready-made marks in the shop. When you buy a ready-made mark, the exclusive rights to that mark transfer to you on payment, and it is removed from the shop so no one else can buy it. Because the files are delivered digitally on purchase, sales of ready-made marks are final.

After a ready-made mark is sold, I keep one right to it: to show it in my portfolio and on social media as an example of past work. Everything else transfers to you, and this display right cannot be opted out of, as it is part of the sale.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that any content, references, or assets you provide do not infringe third-party rights. By supplying these, you confirm you have the right to use them.

Unforeseen circumstances

If illness or another emergency stops me from completing a project, you'll receive a full refund unless usable work has already been delivered, in which case a prorated refund will be issued based on work completed.

Limitation of liability

My total liability in connection with any project is limited to the amount paid for that specific service. I am not liable for any indirect, consequential, or loss of business damages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the French courts.
