deadbeat, brand identity
Deadbeat started as a sketch drawn straight on the computer, a skull with flames for hair, and grew into a full brand exploration.
The concept: an analytics app with an attitude. It hypes you up on good weeks, roasts you on bad ones, and always slips in real advice underneath, like a friend who clowns you but genuinely wants you to do better.
The identity is built around a bright hot colors, a reusable flame motif that shifts intensity to match the app's mood, and a set of skull expressions covering hype, roast, shock, and advice states. Hand-drawn edges and grunge texture keep the system loud and rebellious.

Somn started with a hand-drawn mythological creature, sketched before the app even had a name, the mark came first, the identity was built around it. The name itself is rooted in Somnus, the Roman god of sleep.
The system includes a logo built around three celestial states, a hand-drawn glyph library extending the creature into a full set of reusable marks, and a soft, calming color and typography system carried through to app UI screens and brand expression.
Every piece was designed to feel drawn, not built, warm and human rather than clinical, fitting a brand meant to accompany someone into rest.
